Cebu City – The Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) was hailed as the Most Outstanding Chamber in the Visayas and in the Philippines, besting 12 other chamber finalists in the regional and national scale that competed this year.
The awards were presented by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) and were given by Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte and other PCCI officers on October 17, 2019 during the culmination of the 45th Philippine Business Conference & Expo (PBC&E) at the Manila Hotel, Manila.
The Most Outstanding Chamber Award recognizes MCCI’s effective leadership and dynamism, active advocacy involvement, and substantial programs and activities that promote and accelerate the business growth of Mandaue City.
MCCI President Stanley Go headed the MCCI delegation, with board member Mark Anthony Ynoc and Executive Director Marlene Bedia.
With the theme “Enabling Business in a Digital Economy”, the 45th PBC&E focused on equipping Philippine businesses for the fourth industrial revolution by examining the dynamics of a digital economy and its impacts on growth and sustainability in the community. (DYARNewsCenter/JB/PR)
